This is the first edition of the LMHS Newsletter.   We will send this out each Monday to help you stay informed about all the things going on around Lloyd Memorial.

School News

No School
School will be closed November 26th, 27th, and 28th.   Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

Picture retakes
Lifetouch will be having an In-House Retake Day on Friday December 12th from 3:30- 6:30 pm. You must call for an appointment, (859) 578- 0110.

Mocking Jay
Students who have all A’s, B’s, or C’s, have only 1 unexcused absence or tardy, only 2 or less tardies to class and one minor referral will be eligible to go watch Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Part 1 on December 12th. Permission slips will be distributed December 8th to those who qualify. Student Council will be paying for your ticket and snack pack!

PLAN Feedback Night
Lloyd will have a PLAN Feedback night for sophomores and their parents on December 3rd at 6:30 pm In the LMHS Library.

Yearbook
Order your 2015 Yearbook today for only $30- that is almost 50% less than the cost of last year’s book. After December 31st the price will go up to $35.  You can order online at https://ybpay.lifetouch.com or get an order form in the library or front office.

Coat Distribution
There will be a coat distribution hosted by the Society of St. Vincent DePaul on Saturday December 13th from 9:00am-noon; it will be at St. Henry Church, 3813 Dixie Hwy in Elsmere. Its open to the public and coats are available for adults and children. There is no charge.

Senior composites
Senior composite pictures are at Lloyd on December 2nd .

ACT
There will be a practice ACT for juniors at Lloyd on December 2nd .

Class Rings
Class rings will be delivered on December 3rd for those who ordered a ring.

Lunch Charges
All lunch charges need to be paid by the end of December.   We want to start the year with zero balances.   If you have any questions or concerns about your account, come to the cafeteria office and we will be happy to help you.

Bowling
The girls bowling team beat NCC last Thursday. Congratulations to Catherine Wood who had a score of 218.
