School Play
Anyone interested in being involved in this year’s play, get an audition packet from Ms. Lawson starting Monday, January 26th. Auditions will be February 19th and 20th.
Tennis
There will be a tennis meeting this week for everyone who is interested in playing tennis this year. This is for both boys and girls. Meet in Coach Donnell’s room #41, Thursday (1/29) right after school.
Extended School Services in Lloyd’s Library
The library is open Monday-Thursday after school until 5:15. The library is available for Lloyd students to use the computers, have a quiet place to work, and get assistance from a certified teacher. There is also a math tutor on Tuesdays and Thursday. This is a free service.
FASFA
The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. You must fill out this application to be eligible for any type of federal, state or institutional financial aid which includes grants, student loans & work study programs. Starting January 1st, www.fafsa.gov will be open to fill out for the 2015-16 school year. It is important to fill out the FAFSA as soon as possible because some grants are based on a first come, first serve basis. (Remember, it is better to use estimates from your previous year’s tax return and get the FAFSA completed early, than it is to wait for your new W-2 statements to come in. When you do file your tax returns, you can then make easy corrections by going online casino back into your FAFSA online and applying the Data Retrieval Tool.) If you need assistance filling out the FAFSA, the workshops below will be very beneficial. Every college/university has a Financial Aid Department that can assist you too.

NKY FAME Open House- January 27th
Employers actually start training students while they are still in school. Students receive hands-on and classroom training that gives them access to high-paying advanced manufacturing jobs. Seniors graduating in June are highly encouraged to meet with the Northern Kentucky Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education members and its partners for an Open House on Tuesday, January 27th from 4:30pm to 6:30 pm at the HAHN AUTOMATION, 3012 Kustom Drive, Hebron, KY 41048.
