2021 WCC and Michael Ramundo Memorial Education Awards ($1,000 awards), Deadline May 7, 2021

The Woman’s Club of Greater Cincinnati established the WCC and Michael Ramundo Memorial Education Awards to encourage responsible civic awareness among local high school seniors who identify as female.  The $1,000 education awards are presented directly to recipients to be used as needed to further their educational goals.

This year the awards will be presented at a virtual event to be held on Thursday, June 3rd at 7;00 pm.  Award recipients will be notified approximately two weeks prior to the event.

2021 Essay Topic” With the WCC mission in mind, address your ideas about “Growing into Citizenship: Trusting my voice and making it heard.”

Content Requirements:
1. One page essay must be submitted in hard copy. No electronic copies will be accepted.
2. Essays should demonstrate clarity of thought, offer practical approaches, and give examples of the applicant’s community involvement.
3. Applicant information form must be completed in full, including signatures from students and parent/guardian.
4. One signed letter of recommendation from counselor, teacher or administrator must be included.

Only complete applications with all required information will be considered.  Submit all information requested together in on packet, in hard copy to our address below no later than noon on Friday, May 7, 2021.  Please note that office hours are M/W/F from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
